It's Been Awhile...

So it's been about two months since I've updated this thing...I figured I'd do so now, since I'm not caught up in the hustle and bustle of the whole school routine, and I've really enjoyed reading everyone's blogs, so I want to fill yall in on my life.

Not much here with me, just chillin in good ol' Sweetwater, Texas. God has just been teaching me so many things and blessing me as well. I went to church camp this past week with my brother's youth group as a counselor, and it was amazing! God was totally there and spoke to everyone, not just the campers. Pastors, youth pastors and counselors like me were getting so much out of the services. Aaron Cavin was the speaker (he spoke at Breakdown...the guy with the poop story) and God just used him in an awesome way. Worship was led by Ornan's Floor, a group out of San Angelo, and they did a great job preparing us for the message. I also got to lead a small group session during the week, which was a great blessing and learning experience. I just had a great week...I learned alot, was challenged alot, and even cried. It's been forever since I've broken down like that about spiritual things...I'm so thankful that God is working in my life and molding me!

As far as family and home things go, God is blessing me with a little nephew! June 15th, my little Cameron Isaiah will be here. I'm praying that he and his mom Kim will be healthy and comfortable in these last few days before the birth, and I hope you'll be praying too. My Oakley's gonna be a big sister...how cute! We'll be going up there Thursday morning and staying through Sunday afternoon. Also, at my home church, I've joined the choir again for the summer...I just love to sing!! I sang in the main service this past Sunday morning, and I've just missed singing for my home church.

Well I guess that's all. Hope all is well with everyone...I miss my BBC pals! But I know that God's using the break as a time to draw us closer to Him, and I'm praying that we'll all go back to school with a burden and desire to serve Him. Love yall!

hey im alive! i just havent updated in forever...yeah. so recent update in my life...going to saint louis for easter with some great pals, and God is marvelous...going through alot of things right now, but He's faithful...pray for me...got something big going on...like the trip and school and other things...love yall and have a good one!

hey folks, just chillin in the student center waiting for the movie on the lawn. we're watching willy wonka, and i really dont like it, but im just coming for the fellowship. anywho, things are incredibly fun and weird and awkward all at the same time...its just me my emotions change so quickly and dramatically...i dunno its a fault that i have that i need to work on so if you could just pray for me right now, just like an overall prayer for my life. anywho tonight at bt we had the watoto kids choir from uganda africa and they were SPECTACULAR!! we got to dance in church it was so incredible!! well i guess thats it so ill see yall around. love yall so much!

Hey folks! I am in Springfield and am loving it! I got in at about 9 pm last night and had a great reunion with my roomie, Mattie and Krista! We hung out in Krista's room for a bit and talked and then we finished unloading, and then I unpacked. At about 10:30 or so I went with Krista to hang out in the Student Center where I saw a plethora of people...Rob, Ashley Mabe, Kendall, Josh Sonnenberg, John Sullivan, Chris Schoff and others. It was a fun time!

This morning I went with Krista and Rob, along with Vanessa and her cousin Karina to Washington Avenue Baptist Church..it was excellent! It's a black church but it was good...the music was marvelous and the people were very friendly! Oh yeah, we got there at 10:30 and didn't leave till 1:30! Good times!! We then had lunch at Subway, came back to school and then I read some of "Boy Meets Girl"--trying to finish that book!--and then chatted with Kendall and Ashley...awesome conversations with those girls...they're amazing!

Tonight I went to Baptist Temple...good ole BT!!..and the youth led worship in the service. I really enjoyed it, and then Pastor Mark gave a great message from Romans 11. After that Kendall, Josh, Phil and I went to Wendy's for dinner...good times..then came back to school to attempt homework. I'm taking a break from it right now...

I actually can't wait for school tomorrow! To catch up and see everyone excites me! And..I have tons of pictures of my niece that I just have to show off to everyone! I love yall and hope yall have a STUPENDOUS week!

Hola!! How is everyone doing? Hope all is well in your world, but anywho yesterday was just a fun day. My mom and I went shopping in the great town of Sweetwater, yes I said great, and I came out with some great deals and outfits. We went to Burke's Outlet, KMart, WalMart, Goodwill--my favorite, and Bealls. In all I think I got 3 skirts, two long sleeved tops, and three short sleeved blouses...and a bunch of other things too but those are the best buys of the day. For lunch we got Cynthia from school and went to Schlotsky's (hope I spelled that right)...I love that place! Anyway, after the excellent day of shopping, I helped Mom and Cynthia make dinner with the best thing ever....homemade TORTILLAS! You have NOT lived until you have had them...oh my word they are spectacular!! Anyway, after dinner we went to clean the church and then we played Shout About Music, a DVD game that I thought I could win but when Mom and Cynthia got together to play against me, I sadly fell to defeat. Oooh, I can't leave this out, but I also filled out my info for FAFSA! How stupendous is that?! Just kidding, but I did get it done, which is just a good thing to get out of the way.

Well today is my last day in Sweetwater and I'm actually sad. I love my family! We're leaving here to meet my uncle in Eastland at about 6:00 pm, have dinner and then I'm heading back with him to Dallas. Tomorrow at about 1 or 2, we'll meet Vanessa at the good ol' Flying J where we'll then go from there to Springfield. I'm so excited to get back! I miss everyone and everything....from all the girls on the floor to good tmes in the caf, wrinkled clothes, Scrub and Shine and everything in between, I'm ready to get back!! Anywho, I love you all and hope you're having a great day!
